As a Business Development Executive in the Career Training Department, you will play a pivotal role in driving growth through strategic partnerships, client acquisition, and market development. This role is centered on building sustainable ecosystems that support career advancement and lifelong learning.
Your key responsibilities include identifying new business opportunities, promoting training programs to corporate clients, educational institutions, and individual learners, and contributing to the department’s outreach and revenue objectives. You will collaborate closely with internal teams to craft tailored proposals and cultivate long-term client relationships,
1. Strategic Partnership Development
· Work with internal team to execution of partnership frameworks with employers, industry consortia, government bodies, and education providers.
· Identify and pursue new business opportunities across corporate, academic, and individual client segments.
· Collaborate with internal teams to develop customized training proposals, marketing materials, sales strategies, strategic roadmaps that align partnerships with company-wide workforce development goals.
2. Collaboration & Cross-Functional Support
· Work closely with cross-functional teams including marketing, training, and operations to ensure alignment and successful execution of business development initiatives.
· Provide market insights and client feedback to support program development and service enhancements.
· Coordinate with internal departments to ensure timely delivery of proposals, training schedules, client communications, performance KPIs, partnership funnels, and tracking systems.
3. Idea Contribution & Program Support
· Initiate and co-develop programs such as job fairs, internships, certification modules, employer roundtables, and executive briefings.
· Identify co-branding and co-sponsorship opportunities with long-term impact.
· Assist in piloting new training initiatives and gathering feedback to inform continuous improvement.
4. Reporting & Relationship Management
· Maintain regular communication with clients to ensure satisfaction and identify opportunities for upselling or referrals.
· Prepare and submit employer satisfaction and ROI analysis for key partners.
· Ensure Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems and records are updated accurately with client interactions, leads, and follow-ups.
· Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Education, HR, or related field; or 3+ years of experience in training, education, or professional services.
· Prefer with 1-3 years’ experience in business development, sales, or client-facing roles, preferably in training, education, or professional services.
· Team player with the ability to collaborate across departments.
· Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage clients at various levels.
· Organised with good time management and reporting skills.
· Khmer and English proficiency required.
