A Myriad of Chic Shops Open at the Q-Box, Offering a Weekend of Revelry

Alfresco container shops with graffitied walls dotted a chic space in Phnom Penh’s Chamkarmon district – the Q-Box.

Treating a heavy turnout of visitors were a delectable selection of eats and eye-dazzling products.

The venue was lit up as night falls and a partying vibe took over.

Not only were visitors offered a free flow of beers at the Q-Box, but also entertained by staggering live music performances.

People immersed themselves in a mixture of music and visually stunning arts.

Here, some were chilling out with friends at the riverside of Tonle Bassac, laying back and listening to music to unwind after a busy week of work and stress.

Others were snacking and drinking the way through the night, enjoying themselves at the night market of the Q-Box and indulged in food that were finger-licking good.

Here, live music helped people to wind down, while delicacies tantalized their taste buds.

The event culminated at an award ceremony for the ‘We Can’ graffiti contest.

Since launched, the graffiti contest has attracted the attention of over a million netizens, who vote for their favorite piece over the course of four days. 

Winners of the contest were awarded cash prizes ranging from 50 to 600 US dollars.

A great cheer was shouted and tears were shed in the crowd as the award ceremony went on.

Dancing and drinking, everyone was reveling in this cheerful party.

A platform for new trends in Phnom Penh
